This place you would not expect to be great but wow was I wrong stopped here on a Saturday morning with hubby and got breakfast. The Houevo Rancheros was to die for, the corn tortillas were fresh to order and delicious  I would come back here in a heartbeat and service was excellent. Love to support family owned business owners like these.

I ordered the Enchiladas Verdes with green tomatillo sauce on top of the enchiladas. It was supposed to be spicy, but was more on the milder side. Although it was not better than other enchiladas I've had in the past, it was still a very good and filling meal. The refried beans tasted good, but were definitely below average.

I also ordered a horchata, which was not as sweet as I hoped. They put too much ice in it and it diluted the taste.

This restaurant is now our "go to" place for Mexican food. The food is very fresh and delicious. The service is sometimes a bit slow, but the wait is worth it once the food arrives.  The enchiladas verde are soooo
yummy. In fact, everything I have tried is worth going back for.

Every year we come to BNP we have to come las tarascas!. All of the local volunteers raved about it.  and warned us "don't be worried when you pull up to a gas station". It's a good thing they gave us a heads up or we probably would have turned around. The place isn't much to look at so the first year we took it to go. Now after 7 years of coming We stay and eat with the locals! Everything is made fresh, tortillas are cooked to order. Everything we got was awesome. I would not overlook this place for good authentic Mexican!

This place is an absolute hidden gem!!  The service was fantastic, our server Eduardo make excellent recommendations and was really attentive.   Excellent guacamole, the best pork salsa verde I've ever had and awesome shrimp tacos.  My husband and I can't wait to go back next time we are in the desert.  SO GOOD!
